Role Requirements:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.
- Handle escalated customer issues that frontline staff cannot resolve.
- Assist customers with postal services, such as mailings, package tracking, and financial services (e.g., money orders).
- Oversee the daily operations of the customer service area in the post office.
- Monitor adherence to postal policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ensure the availability of necessary supplies, such as stamps and forms.
- Implement improvements to enhance service efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with postal regulations, privacy policies, and safety protocols.
- Monitor the handling of sensitive documents and financial transactions.
- Report any suspicious activities or breaches to higher management or authorities.
- Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and upper management.
- Supervise cash handling, accounting for daily transactions, and balancing cash drawers.
- Ensure proper procedures are followed for financial services offered at the post office.
- Address logistical issues, such as delivery delays or misplaced packages.
