Role Requirements:

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.
  • Handle escalated customer issues that frontline staff cannot resolve.
  • Assist customers with postal services, such as mailings, package tracking, and financial services (e.g., money orders).
  • Oversee the daily operations of the customer service area in the post office.
  • Monitor adherence to postal policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary supplies, such as stamps and forms.
  • Implement improvements to enhance service efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with postal regulations, privacy policies, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor the handling of sensitive documents and financial transactions.
  • Report any suspicious activities or breaches to higher management or authorities.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and upper management.
  • Supervise cash handling, accounting for daily transactions, and balancing cash drawers.
  • Ensure proper procedures are followed for financial services offered at the post office.
  • Address logistical issues, such as delivery delays or misplaced packages.
